At GODEF, we are committed to fostering economic resilience and self-reliance among women, particularly Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). Through our Economic Empowerment and Community Development Program, we provide resources, training, and opportunities for women to build sustainable income-generating activities.
About the Program
Mission: To enable women in vulnerable communities to achieve financial independence and contribute to economic growth.
Objective: Help women, especially IDPs, establish and manage sustainable small businesses through microloans, capacity building, and skill development.


Key Activities
Our program delivers impactful solutions tailored to the unique needs of women, especially IDPs:


Access to Microloans:
Small-scale financing to support the start and growth of petty businesses.
Flexible repayment plans to ease financial burdens and encourage entrepreneurship


Business Training Workshops:
Practical training on business planning, management, and financial literacy.
Guidance on creating sustainable business models.


Skill-Building Programs:
Training women in marketable skills such as tailoring, baking, and crafts.
Focus on equipping participants with skills aligned with local market demands.
